For the first time in the Big Ten Championship game’s short history, a team not named Wisconsin or Nebraska will be representing the teams from the western side of the conference.
The Iowa Hawkeyes clinched the Big Ten West division championship on Saturday after defeating the Purdue Boilermakers.
Iiowa was, with good reason, highly excited in the locker room following the game.
They celebrated in one of the coolest and most united ways possible.
The Hawkeyes are also 11-0 for the first time in school history. They play in Lincoln against the Nebraska Cornhuskers and will likely need to win the game to stay in contention for the College Football Playoff.
