Kentucky rules the roost in latest AP rankings


In a development that is not surprising at all, Kentucky has ascended to the top of the latest AP college basketball rankings. Joining the in the Top 5 are Maryland, Michigan State, Iowa State and Kansas. North Carolina, the former No. 1 team, tumbled down to No. 9 after losing to Northern Iowa on Saturday, while Texas A&M and Cincinnati made their Top 25 debuts this week.

The AP Top 25 for Week 3 are as follows:
