If you would have told me three weeks ago that the Spartans would be two wins away from getting back into the playoff picture, I would have called you crazy.
They took advantage of the Buckeyes’ mistakes on Saturday and air guitared their way into sole possession of first place in the Big Ten West.
One win is all they need to get back to the championship game in Indianapolis.
Quarterback Connor Cook dressed out and warmed up last week, but sat out the game. However, because of that, it is likely he will play in the game against Penn State on Saturday to try and win the division.
