The Clemson Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks have always had a bitter rivalry with each other. The two meet up every year to end the regular season and it’s time for their game once again.
The two teams have had vastly different seasons as the Tigers ranked No. 1 in the country and are competing for a national championship while the Gamecocks are 3-8 and will be missing a bowl game for the first time since 2007.
The game they play in every year is affectionately referred to as the Palmetto Bowl and the Tigers revealed a new trophy be defended in the game.
The Tigers lead the overall series 66-42, but they just won in the series for the first time since 2008 last year.
They look to win consecutive matchups for the first time since 2007-2008, while the Gamecocks want to end their season on a high note by giving the Tigers their first loss of the year.
This game is going to be a fun one to watch. It will kick off on Saturday at 12 p.m. EST on ESPN.
