Nevada coach to honor father and Flip Saunders with warmup routine

-

Eric Musselman, head coach of the Nevada men’s basketball team and son of former University of Minnesota basketball coach Bill Musselman, will pay tribute to his father and the late Flip Saunders when the Wolfpack take the court on Nov. 25.

At Minnesota, Musselman featured a unique, Harlem Globetrotter-esque warmup routine that the younger Musselman will include when his Nevada team open against Porland State tonight.

Saunders was a former player of the elder Musselman’s at Minnesota in the 1970’s,

“We start almost every practice with this pregame routine,” Eric Musselman said. “It takes some time to get it down and we will perform it live for the first time before the Portland State home game at Lawlor Events Center on Nov. 25.”

The Wolf Pack and Vikings are set to tip-off at 10 p.m. ET.
