2015 College football Thanksgiving schedule

It’s Thanksgiving Day which means plenty of families around the country will be sitting around their televisions after their Turkey Day feast to enjoy some good, old fashioned football.

While it is the NFL triple-header that will generate plenty of the attention, there are two college football games on the schedule that are worth giving a look. Both games are set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET — just an hour before the NFL nightcap between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears — so you will have to choose wisely.

On ESPN at Bright House Networks Stadium in Orlando, the UCF Knights will play host to the in-state rival South Florida Bulls.

The other game on the schedule will have more national appeal.

In another in-state rivalry at Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, the Texas Longhorns will be taking on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in their penultimate game of the season. Texas Tech vs. Texas will air on FOX Sports 1.

So, if you are a fan of football, there will be plenty of action to take in on the holiday.
