Future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning has been fighting through the worst season of his career. His most recent setback came when a foot injury forced him out of action last week.
Now, it appears that the Denver Broncos quarterback will be out of action for the foreseeable future.
According to Ian Rapoport on the NFL Network, Manning will miss “at least three weeks.” Rapoport added that the team’s Week 15 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers is the most realistic target for Manning’s return.
It is going to be interesting to continue monitoring Manning’s health over the next few weeks.
While he is targeted for a Week 15 return, any potential setback could ultimately force the star signal-caller to end his season prematurely.
Campus Sports will update you on Manning’s status as more information becomes available.
