The Carolina Panthers are undefeated and have looked absolutely dominant in their path to getting their. On Thirsday, they blew out the Dallas Cowboys and their defense was the big reason for their success.
In the days leading up to yesterday’s game, many people talked about how the Cowboys had a good chance to get the win simply because Tony Romo was returning from injury. Star wide receiver Dez Bryant had a lot to say about the Panthers’ defensive backs, which probably wasn’t a very smart thing for him to do.
He was held to only two catches for 28 yards in the game and Carolina’s leading defensive back Josh Norman was pretty upset with “haters” after the game. According to Sporting News, Norman took shots at Bryant, ESPN’s Skip Bayless, and Vegas odd makers, who had the Cowboys favored by 1.5 points, following the game.
“He shouldn’t have ticked off my DBs in pregame,” Norman said. “That took me to a whole other place. Once that happened, you can’t get me fired up (more). I’m telling you, I’m going to be at your throat for four quarters every time.”
Norman has been one of the more outspoken players this year. At least we know he can back it up.
