On Friday, Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds tied Montee Ball for the most career touchdown record with 83 in a loss to the Houston Cougars. He will likely break the record against Army in two weeks, but the biggest story of Saturday was another player tying the record that not a lot of people have been talking about it.
Louisiana Tech took the field against Southern Mississippi for a spot in the Conference USA championship game on Saturday. While the Bulldogs didn’t win the game, one of their players etched his name in the history books forever.
Running back Kenneth Dixon had 81 total touchdowns entering into Saturday’s game and with his second receiving score of the day in the third quarter of their 58-24 loss to the Golden Eagles, he tied the record that Ball and Reynolds hold as well.

Dixon won’t be able to break the record since that was his final college game in the regular season, but he will always have the satisfaction of knowing he is forever in the record books.
Congratulations to that young man and best of luck as you further your career.
