Cavaliers ban players from riding hoverboards at Quicken Loans Arena

Well, that is no fun. Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith enjoyed riding around Quicken Loans Arena on his PhunkeeDuck last postseason, but he will no longer be permitted to do so.

On Sunday, a report from Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com stated the Cavaliers have banned their players from riding the motorized hoverboards throughout the arena for home games. That means players will now have to actually walk to their lockers.

Oh, the humanity!

It is a shame to see the hoverboards no longer having a place at Quicken Loans, but J.R. Smith’s PhunkeDuck arrival will forever hold a place in our hearts.
