The Jacksonville Jaguars had a pretty big scare during their 31-25 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. During the third quarter of the game, second-leading receiver Allen Hurns smacked his head off the turf and had to be stretchered off the field.
Hurns was taken to a nearby hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion.
Luckily, the Jaguars announced the Hurns had been released from the hospital about two hours later.
Hurns has been a key piece for the Jaguars this season. Through 11 games, he has has 758 yards and seven touchdowns, catching four passes for 42 yards today before his injury.
Hopefully Hurns will be able to return the field soon as the Jaguars look to stay competitive in the AFC South.
