Kentucky Wildcats guard Tyler Ulis avoided a serious elbow injury against South Florida and might play tomorrow against the MVC’s Illinois State Redbirds.
John Calipari provided the update to reporters, including Kyle Tucker of The Courier-Journal.
Calipari says Ulis probably won't practice today, "day to day," but should be fine. Might play tomorrow. https://t.co/MqVG9F1w9X

Kentucky is deep enough that Ulis’ presence won’t be missed too much if he has to sit out a game, but there’s no doubt that his teammates would prefer to have him on the court. The 5-foot-9 sensation has posted 13.2 points and 4.3 assists per contest and is an electrifying member of the team’s offense.
However, since he hasn’t been practicing, Kentucky should bank on Ulis’ status for tomorrow’s game as unlikely at this point.
