The LSU Tigers just wrapped up one of their most up-and-down weeks they have ever experienced in Les Miles’ eleven-year tenure in Baton Rouge. It seemed as though Miles would be fired at the end of the week, but after Saturday night’s win over Texas A&M, Miles isn’t going anywhere.
He seemed to be in a pretty good mood after the big win over the Aggies. However, his attitude changed pretty quickly when he was asked if the Tigers were considering making a change offensively.
“Do we want to consider change? You betcha,” Miles told The Advocate. “I think serious overhaul is appropriate but would be a little much.”
The only good thing the Tigers have really done the last few weeks was get some explosive plays on the ground. The Tigers haven’t had a great passing attack since Matt Flynn was in control of the offense, so it is certainly time for them to switch things up.
Having two great running backs in Leonard Fournette and Derrius Guice going forward is a great thing, but if they don’t have a great offensive mind leading their team, it will continue to be much of the same.
What do you think Tiger fans? Is offensive coordinator Cam Cameron’s job safe in Baton Rouge?
