It has certainly been an emotional roller coaster for the LSU Tigers and their head coach Les Miles this week. There has been speculation running rampant that he would be fired by the end of the week and it seemed as though he was as good as gone Friday night.
On Saturday, however, things changed very quickly. It all began when Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal tweeted his support for Miles before the game.
At the Senior Night game in Tiger Stadium, the fans showered Miles with a standing ovation and cheers of “We want Les” and “Les Miles.” The Tigers defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 19-7 and moved to 8-3 for the regular season and following the game, athletic director Joe Alleva confirmed that Miles would be with the team going forward.

This is just one of the many coaching questions that has been settled at this point in the season. The Tigers will now await where they will end for the bowl season, which will be revealed next Sunday.
