If you missed the 2014 Popeyes Bahamas Bowl, then I feel very bad for you. It was a classic that saw Central Michigan erase a 28-point halftime deficit against Western Kentucky and ended on crazy four-lateral Hail Mary play.
This year, fans can only hope that the game will be as entertaining. We now know one of the teams that will be playing in the game this year and it is another high-powered offense that loves to throw the ball around a lot.
The Bahamas Bowl announced via Twitter on Saturday that Middle Tennessee State had accepted an early invitation to the game in Nassau.

The Blue Raiders didn’t get invited to a bowl game last year, despite going 6-6. This is the fourth year in a row head coach Rick Stockstill has led the Blue Raiders to at least six wins and they will be playing in a bowl game for the fifth time under him.
The Bahamas Bowl takes place on Christmas Eve and the Blue Raiders will likely await the MAC conference champion or runner-up.
