The Notre Dame Fighting Irish fell to the Stanford Cardinal 38-36 to get knocked out of the playoff picture. It was a disappointing loss for the Fighting Irish, but there is no question that they have a bright future ahead of them. Brian Kelly has a lot of talent on the roster, but they are also losing talent in the senior class as well.
Will Fuller was one of the best players all season long for the Irish and he took to Instagram to make a tribute to one of his teammates that will be graduating in particular. He also made a guarantee that the Irish would win their final game of the season.
Y’all don’t and never will understand how much I look up to this dude right here! I’ve grown and learned so much from breez it doesn’t make any sense. People like this don’t come around everyday. So we loss tonight and no loss is a good loss but I wouldn’t want to play with another group of guys. We fought through so much adversity and continued to fight. #127 has one more together and we will get that win.
Fuller is one of the best wide receivers in the nation himself and has hinted that he will be back for another season next year. He wants to finish his education and cannot do that by leaving Notre Dame as a junior. Losing his close friend won’t be easy, but it will make him stronger.
Throughout the 2015 season with the Irish, Fuller ended up catching 56 passes for 1,145 yards and 13 touchdowns. Brown ended up catching 44 passes for 562 yards and three touchdowns himself.
