Rumor: Oregon OC Scott Frost to be named Syracuse HC Monday

There are plenty of coaching vacancies in the world of college football right now. With most of those teams’ seasons already being over, it’s likely these vacancies will be filled in the coming weeks.

It seems like the Syracuse Orange will be naming a new head coach very soon. According to one Reddit user, Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost is rumored to be named the Orange’s new head coach on Monday.

Frost has been with the Ducks since 2009 and was named the offensive coordinator in 2013. He has been known for having one of the more dynamic offenses in the entire country, learning from both Chip Kelly and Mark Helfrich.

It will be interesting to see what happens on Monday. Stay with Campus Sports for the latest information on the head coaching circuit.
