To say Treon Harris hasn’t played well since taking over for suspeded Will Grier would be an understatement. The sophomore quarterback has thrown for 1,365 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions.
It’s not the worst stat line in the world. But for a team looking to win an SEC Championship, it’s nowhere near what they need.
That being said, the team — more specifically the coach — is rallying behind Harris ahead of Saturday’s game against Alabama. Not only does he believe that Harris will have success against the Crimson Tide, but he is going to have Harris lead the team from the tunnel at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
"He's gonna have a great week of practice. I'm proud he's a Gators. He's going to lead us out of that tunnel in Atlanta." — Mac on Treon
