Wichita State senior forward Anton Grady will be released from the hospital and return to campus with the team just two days after being stretchered off the court in the Shockers’ game against Alabama following a collision.
CBS Sports’ John Rothstein reported the development on Twitter.
Wichita State's Anton Grady has been released from the hospital, per release. Will return to campus with Shockers. GREAT NEWS.

Nothing has been said regarding when Grady will return to the court, but the fact that he avoided spinal cord trauma and improved so quickly is a tremendous sign. A transfer from Cleveland State, he is averaging nine points and a team-best six rebounds per game.
Wichita State is 2-4 and will look to get back in the win column against the Atlantic 10’s Saint Louis Billikens on December 5.
