Bill Belichick burns reporter about Gronkowski injury

On Tuesday night the New England Patriots released a joint statement with Rob Gronkowski regarding the status of the Pro Bowl tight end’s injury. The statement said that the team would evaluated Gronkowski on a week-to-week basis, and that there was no timetable for his return.

Everything in the statement was pretty straightforward, but a reporter during Belichick’s Wednesday press conference still decided to ask about it.

What happened next was a uncommon Belichick burn.
