Clemson QB Deshaun Watson wins ACC Player of the Year

Deshaun Watson has been one of the more pleasant surprises in college football this season. The Clemson Tigers’ quarterback tore his ACL at this time last year and there were major question marks about what he would play like when he came back to the field.

According to a report from Bruce Feldman, Watson has won the ACC Player of the Year award over Florida State running back Dalvin Cook.

Entering the ACC Championship Game this week, Watson has completed 70.4 percent of his passes for 3,223 yards, 27 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

He has done an excellent job of leading his team and taking care of the football this year en route to a perfect season to this point.

Clemson now has to face off against the North Carolina Tar Heels for the ACC Championship and you can tune in to watch that game at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
