Jacoby Brissett accepts invitation to East/West Shrine Game

NC State quarterback Jacoby Brissett has had an outstanding career with the Wolfpack since transferring from Florida two years ago. Last year, he threw for 2,606 yards and 23 touchdowns against just five interceptions.

The senior has had another decent season this year, throwing for 2,448 yards and 19 touchdowns with just four interceptions.

Those statistics have been good enough to land him an invitation to the East/West Shrine Game.

Much like the Senior Bowl, the Shrine Game takes the best college football seniors and pits them in a game against each other. Right now, the game seems to be loaded with talent as Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen also accepted an invitation to the game.

The Shrine Game takes place on January 23, 2016 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. It will be broadcast at 4 p.m. EST on NFL Network.
