Kirby Smart at Alabama practice after being named UGA HC

Georgia naming Kirby Smart head coach was easily one of the biggest pieces of news to hit this week. Smart isn’t going to be with the Bulldogs for their bowl game as he is trying to focus on helping Alabama win the SEC Championship this week.

After he was announced as the head coach of the Bulldogs, Smart was seen at the Crimson Tide’s practice. Everything seemed to be normal as he was working with his defense and doing some drills.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to most as Smart is trying to help the Crimson Tide get back to the College Football Playoff. Also, Mark Richt is still expected to coach the Bulldogs through their bowl game as well.
