Ol Crimson’s signature flag goes missing at ESPN College GameDay

For 177 straight weeks, the signature flag for the Washington State Cougars has flown on the set of ESPN’s College Gameday. On Saturday, the flag went missing from the set in Stillwater, Oklahoma for the Bedlam game between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

The flag, known as Ol’ Crimson and Grey, has been brought to set for 177 straight weeks by Washington State fans, alums and family to ensure that the flag is waved proudly every Saturday and each flag bearer has signed the flag to mark the accomplishment.

Washington State has reached out via Twitter to both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State fans to please bring the flag back, no questions asked.

Hopefully, the flag will be returned and Ol’ Crimson can fly this Saturday in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship to extend the streak to 178 weeks.
