Peyton Manning is making further progress to a return behind center for the Denver Broncos. He is beginning rehab after having the cast removed from a torn plantar fascia, according to Sports Illustrated.
Manning was diagnosed with the injury on November 16th and has missed two consecutive games.
It was evident Manning may have had an injury when he started his erratic play. He went to Charlotte to visit foot specialized at Dr. Robert Anderson, where is treatment process was laid out.
There is some speculation as to if Manning would return this season, as the Broncos are 2-0 under backup Brock Osweiler and have named him the starter for the remainder of the regular season earlier today.
