It looks the end of an era is soon to come in the NFL. Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has missed the last two weeks while dealing with Plantar Fascitis and Brock Osweiler has done a nice job of filling in.
In his first career start, Osweiler threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns in a 17-15 win over Chicago. He then led the Broncos to a 30-24 overtime victory over the previously-undefeated New England Patriots.
According to Bleacher Report, Osweiler has been named the starter for the rest of the year, indicating that Manning won’t be returning to the field.
The Broncos are currently in the lead in the AFC West at 9-2.
In three appearances this season, Osweiler has thrown for 666 yards and four touchdowns.
What do you think, Bronco fans? Is Osweiler the real deal? Is Manning’s career over?
