Report: Will Muschamp reaches out to Clemson OC about South Carolina job

With so many coaching vacancies open right now, there are sure to be tons of rumors about where some coaches will end up. Right now, a big rumor is that Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp will be ending up as South Carolina’s new head coach.

No rumors have been confirmed at this point, but it seems as though Muschamp may be looking towards the future with the Gamecocks. According to reports, Muschamp reached out to Clemson offensive coordinator Jeff Scott about taking the same position at South Carolina.

That certainly looks like Muschamp is hitting the recruiting trail when it comes to finding a coaching staff. As of now, Muschamp is still with the Tigers awaiting their bowl invitation, but it does look like Muschamp will be gone sooner rather than later.
