Ohio State redshirt junior guard Pat Elflein plans on returning to school in 2016, but is still exploring options. Eric Seger of 11 Warriors reported Elflein’s decision on Twitter.
There’s no doubt that Ohio State is set to lose a good number of players to the NFL Draft following its bowl game, but Elflein coming back would be a blessing to an already talented offensive line. He is great in protection and has until mid-January to make his decision, so he’s of course going to think long and hard about this.
Jumping to the NFL from college is a big step, and he’s not going to make that move unless he feels he is absolutely ready.
