Georgia QB Faton Bauta to transfer

The Georgia Bulldogs certainly haven’t had a ton of luck as of late. Former head coach Mark Richt announced that he would be stepping down and he was announced as Miami’s head coach a few days later.

Now, the team is going to be without one of their quarterbacks on the depth chart for the bowl and for the future. Bleacher Report’s Barrett Sallee reported via Twitter that quarterback Faton Bauta will transfer and he won’t play in the team’s bowl game.

Bauta made one appearance for the Bulldogs this season when he started against the Florida Gators. He threw for 154 yards and four interceptions in the 27-3 loss.
