The college basketball landscape was shaken to its core last night when No. 1 Kentucky fell to unranked UCLA in Westwood, but Wildcats head coach John Calipari is refusing to dwell on the loss.
Despite there appearing to be on-court tension between sophomore Tyler Ulis and freshman center Skal Labissiere and criticisms about the team’s drive during the game, Calipari took to Twitter and was blunt in his feelings on the game.
You win or you learn. WE LEARNED. Time to get back to work. Time to get better. Let's figure this out!

Though Calipari is one of the most polarizing figures in college basketball, it’s truly great to see him viewing the loss from such a positive standpoint. Yes, the loss was a learning experience and all that Kentucky can do is use the mistakes it made against the Bruins to play dominantly the rest of the season.
So long as everyone shakes the bad game off and comes together going forward, Kentucky can easily get back to the Final Four once again, and perhaps beyond.
The Wildcats’ next game comes against Eastern Kentucky in Lexington on Wednesday.
