Longtime Georgia coach Mark Richt was introduced today as the new head coach of the Miami Hurricanes, and AD Blake James made a point to take a bit of a pot shot when introducing Richt and referencing his past work as Florida State’s offensive coordinator under Bobby Bowden.
Rather than refer to the school by name, James referred to FSU as “that city up in North Florida,” and the AP’s Tim Reynolds was sure to post it to Twitter.
James mentions Richt's past work as a coordinator "at that city up in North Florida."

Long story short, it’s looking like Hurricanes Nation is excited to have Richt aboard and the trash talk against the Seminoles has already begun.
