Miami drops ‘Welcome Home’ video for Mark Richt

The Miami Hurricanes officially introduced Mark Richt as their new head coach Friday morning. The team is pretty excited to have a former alumnus leading the team into the future.

Richt played quarterback for the Hurricanes from 1979-1982. He never coached in Coral Gables as he spent 15 total years with the Florida State Seminoles before heading to Athens.

The Hurricanes’ tribute video welcoming Richt back to Miami was pretty cool.

The team is certainly excited for the future with Richt at the helm. They feel like he will be the one to turn the team around and for the better.
