Derrick Henry now holds single-season SEC rushing record

Alabama running back Derrick Henry has rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown in today’s SEC Championship Game, giving him 1,931rush yards on the season. That gives him the record for most rush yards in a season by an SEC running back!

Henry may not be the MVP of the SEC Championship Game, but there’s no doubt that his presence has been felt in this heated contest. With each positive carry, he puts his likelihood of winning the Heisman Trophy higher and higher.
