FSU DB Jalen Ramsey vetting reps for potential early draft entry

Florida State star defensive back Jalen Ramsey and his family are vetting potential representatives as he figures out whether he wants to enter the 2016 NFL Draft this year or stay for his senior year. NFL Network’s Rand Getlin reported the update on Twitter.

I'm told FSU DB Jalen Ramsey and his family have spent meaningful time vetting potential representatives as he considers entering the draft.

Simply put, the only decision for Ramsey is to enter the draft. He has established himself as the best defensive back in this year’s draft class with his ability to play both corner and safety, and is easily a Top 5 pick at this point. He has 172 tackles, five sacks, three interceptions and four forced fumbles in his collegiate career, so it doesn’t make sense for him to stay in school when his NFL stock is so high right now.

Still, the call of finishing school could be too hard to ignore.
