FSU WR Calls Academic Honor ‘One of My Best Accomplishments’

It’s not too often that you see a football player be so flattered by an academic honor. Especially when you are known as a national star, when returning a kickoff in the National Championship your freshman year.

That’s the case for Florida State’s dynamic wide receiver and return man Kermit Whitfield. He took his thought to Twitter to let everyone know what his priority is.

Seminole fans and those around college football should be fascinated by this great reception to an award that other players would put to the side. Whitfield has been an integral part of the Seminoles success on the field, and apparently in the classroom as well.
