If you think you’re making gains, you might want to try Samaje Perine’s home workout, bro. Since Perine doesn’t live near any gyms in Pflugerville, Texas, he does 792 push-ups and another 792 sit-ups. Everyday.

Perine asked OU’s strength and conditioning staff for an effective home workout, and they gave him one that anyone with a deck of cards can do at home. In an article by The Oklahoman:
“When Samaje Perine goes home for school breaks, his mom regularly catches him doing push-ups and sit-ups in his bedroom — with a deck of cards at his side.
“Perine’s home in Pflugerville, Texas, isn’t close to any gyms, so he asked assistant Oklahoma strength coach Mahala Wiggins for a good home workout. Wiggins suggested getting a deck of cards, shuffling them, drawing them one at a time and doing the number of push-ups that appear on the card.
“Aces and Jokers are 20. Kings, Queens and Jacks are 10.
“So Perine goes through the entire deck each morning, then reshuffles and does the same thing with sit-ups.
“Then does the same thing at night.
“That’s 792 push-ups and 792 sit-ups a day — every day — when Perine goes home.”
I find typing 792 words challenging, not sure if I could survive 792 push-ups.
