Michigan State are your Big Ten Champions this year, but there’s one thing about them that sets them apart from the rest of the FBS conference champs.
According to a post on Reddit, the Spartans are the only FBS conference champion that doesn’t have a red or orange “warm” based color. The others mentioned apart from the Spartans are Alabama, Clemson, San Diego State, Oklahoma, Stanford, Houston, Bowling Green, Arkansas State and Western Kentucky.
Granted, it’s nothing to be ashamed of by any means. Spartan Green defines classic and just epitomizes the blue-collar tradition of Mark Dantonio’s strong defense and rushing attack.
That said, Michigan State should be proud that it broke the mold in such a way!
