Ohio State senior offensive lineman Taylor Decker will close out his collegiate career in this year’s Fiesta Bowl against Notre Dame and though he’s bummed about missing out on the playoff, he’s looking on the bright side of the situation.
A tweet from Decker offered further detail.
I'm just as bummed as anyone about not making the playoff, but ND is a hell of a team. Chance to win 50 games. Back to work #Grind

You read that correctly, folks. 50 wins over the last four seasons for Decker and his fellow seniors. That puts him in a pretty good spot in the months leading up to the 2016 NFL Draft, where Decker could easily be a first-round pick.
He won’t win another championship, but a win over Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl would be a fine cherry on top no matter how you look at it.
