Class of 2016 four-star running back Devway Whaley has de-committed from Georgia, per a statement posted to his Twitter.
Whaley, who currently plays at Central High School in Beaumont, Texas, originally committed to Georgia late last month before longtime Bulldogs coach Mark Richt stepped down. Richt has since been hired at Miami, leaving Whaley with plenty of offers in hand.
On top of Georgia, he has received offers from Texas A&M, Alabama, Arkansas, Stanford, Ole Miss and many others. He has given no indication as to where he will commit in light of this and for all we know, Georgia could still be in the picture.
