Kansas State DB Kaleb Prewett charged with alcohol-related offenses

Kansas State just barely sneaked into a bowl game after defeating the West Virginia Mountaineers last Saturday. It seemed like one of their players wanted to party following the game and he paid for it.

According to The Wichita Eagle, Kansas State sophomore defensive back Kaleb Prewett was arrested in Manhattan on Sunday. The 20-year-old was charged with purchase and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Prewett was released on $500 bond and there has been no word on if he will face punishment by the team. He and the Wildcats face off against Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl on January 2.

He has recorded 49 tackles and one pass breakup for the Wildcats this season.
