SEC & PAC-12 both favored in 9 out of 10 bowl games

Talk about strong conferences. Both the SEC and PAC-12 will feature ten teams in bowls this year, and nine teams from each conference are favored in the bowl matchup by Las Vegas.

The one PAC-12 team that isn’t favored? Oregon, in their Alamo Bowl matchup against TCU is a pick ’em game.

A look at the spread for each team’s bowl game:

Favorite Spread Underdog
LSU 6.5 Texas Tech
Auburn 3 Memphis
Mississippi State 5.5 NCST
Texas A&M 3 Louisville
Alabama 10 Michigan State
Tennessee 8.5 Northwestern
Michigan 4 Florida
Ole Miss 6.5 Oklahoma State
Georgia 6.5 Penn State
Arkansas 11 Kansas State

Utah 2.5 BYU
Washington State 2 Miami
Washington 8.5 Southern Miss
UCLA 6.5 Nebraska
Cal 6.5 Air Force

  1. You know what I find more interesting? The fact that they each have 10 teams in bowls and none of those bowls is against the other.
