TCU uses up Alamo Bowl ticket allotment in less than 48 hours

It’s pretty safe to say that the TCU Horned Frog fan base is going to travel pretty well to their team’s bowl game. The Horned Frogs face off against the Oregon Ducks in the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio this year.

Not only should the game be one of the better games of the bowl season, but it isn’t more than a day trip for TCU and their fans.

The fans showed that they were going to show up in full force as the school announced that they already used up their allotment of tickets for the game.

Since the game was only announced on Sunday, less than 48 hours ago from the announcement this morning, every one was pretty shocked. Even the Alamo Bowl’s PR team couldn’t believe that they had already pulled off this awesome feat.

What, wait? Didn't we just announce 36 hours ago?! Well done #FrogFam #GoFrogs #SlowClap https://t.co/91Puvve85h

Considering this is the team’s fourteenth bowl appearance under Gary Patterson for the Horned Frogs and it’s a match-up of two teams that should light up the scoreboard, this game is sure to be an exciting one for everyone in attendance.
