TE Jake Butt will not enter NFL Draft; returning to Michigan

-

Michigan Wolverines stand out tight end Jake Butt will don the maize and blue for his final season. Butt took his announcement to Twitter on Tuesday.

Michigan fans should be relieved to see Butt return, as the swirling reports said he was “50/50” on entering the NFL Draft just a few days ago. It certainly makes sense for Butt to return as Harbaugh’s offensive style is implemented around the tight end, and Butt is one of the best in the country.

Butt’s junior year will be concluded on New Year’s Day when the Wolverines face an SEC foe, the Florida Gators in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.
