Texas to introduce Bevo XV soon

The Texas Longhorns’ live mascot Bevo has been a tradition for nearly 100 years. He made his first appearance on November 30, 1916 at the Thanksgiving game against Texas A&M and there have been fourteen different longhorns to take the position since.

In October, the school announced that Bevo XIV had sadly passed away after a short battle with cancer. It looks like the the teams is going to soon announce their new mascot as they teased it in a pretty cool video.

Bevo XIV held his stake for nearly a decade and a half, so the next mascot will certainly have big shoes, or hooves, to fill.
