Video: John Cena gives his take on Donald Trump’s Muslim ban proposal

|

2016 Presidential candidate Donald Trump has been saying some pretty idiotic stuff since he announced his intentions to run just a few months ago. On Monday, he opened his mouth once again and this time inserted a boot two sizes too big.

During a rally in South Carolina, Trump proposed that the country impose a ban on all Muslim people in response to recent string of attacks that have been rumored to be linked to ISIS. While some may agree on what Trump was saying, there are a few people that have spoken out against him.

One of those people was WWE Superstar John Cena. He joined the crew of TODAY Tuesday morning to discuss a variety of things, including his role in the new Tina Fey and Amy Poehler movie Sisters, which has had him take a two-month hiatus from the ring.

The crew began talking about Trump’s proposal from Monday and Cena had a pretty insightful answer to the Presidential hopeful.

You see, a lot of people have been speaking out against Trump and have done so with a loud, aggressive tone. Cena was very calm and level-headed, making sure his arguments were clear.

I may not agree with or like Cena very much when it comes to the world of professional wrestling, but he surely knows how to talk and make me like him when it comes to popular topics.
