Video: Stanford players celebrate McCaffrey’s Heisman invite

The three Heisman Trophy finalists have been named and Stanford’s do-it-all guy Christian McCaffrey has been named one of them. He has had a tremendous season, scoring in just about every way possible on offense and special teams.

McCaffrey and a few of his teammates gathered to watch the announcement at the team’s fieldhouse. Their reaction to McCaffrey making it in was exactly how you expected it to be.

McCaffrey is Stanford’s first finalist for the award since Andrew Luck was one in his junior season with the school. It certainly looks like he has a bright future with the Cardinal going forward, even if he doesn’t win the award.

The Heisman Trophy will be awarded on Saturday in a ceremony that will air at 8 p.m. EST on ESPN.
