Cardale Jones, Darron Lee rip on Chris Ash for Rutgers tweet

Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash is the new head coach at Rutgers and based on the following tweet, he’s quite happy about it.

Woke up today excited about being a part of Rutgers football.

Can't wait to get around our players.

But Ash forgot one key fact: Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones and linebacker Darron Lee are also on Twitter and had their fair share to say about their former defensive coordinator’s tweet.

Poor Jones and Lee. They both clearly have a positive relationship with Ash, based on their tweets, and it’s clear that they’re just expressing how happy they are that he’s getting an opportunity to run a team of his own.

However, they are right. The Buckeyes have one more game: the Fiesta Bowl against Notre Dame on New Year’s Day.

Thus, though Ash is happy to be a part of the Rutgers family, he shouldn’t punch his ticket out of Columbus just yet!
