Ohio State DT Adolphus Washington charged with solicitation

Adolphus Washington is one of the biggest presences on the Ohio State Buckeyes’ defensive line. Unfortunately, he has now gotten himself into off-the-field trouble that could force him to miss the team’s Fiesta Bowl appearance against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

According to a report, Washington has been arrested on solicitation charges and faces a first-degree misdemeanor.

No more information was given on what happened to warrant this arrest, but obviously it is something that is serious. Ohio State plans to handle discipline for his actions internally.

Washington recorded 49 tackles, 4.0 sacks, an interception, a defensive touchdown and a forced fumble this season for the Buckeyes.
