Adolphus Washington suspended for Fiesta Bowl

|

On Thursday, Ohio State starting defensive lineman Adolphus Washington was arrested for solicitation. It looks like the Buckeyes have responded and it’s not surprising how they have decided to punish him.

According to FOX Sports’s Bruce Feldman, Washington has been suspended for the team’s bowl game. The Buckeyes take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Fiesta Bowl on January 1.

This year, Washington has recorded 49 tackles, seven for loss, four sacks, and an interception. He is expected to be taken in the second or third round of the NFL Draft next April, but that may change now.

The Buckeyes take the field against the Fighting Irish on January 1 at 1 p.m. EST on ESPN.
