Bill Clinton encourages Pittsburgh James Conner to beat cancer

It has been a week since star Pittsburgh running back James Conner, broke the news he has cancer.

It stung everyone’s heart. When a 20-year-old kid with a bright future is faced with that sort of thing, we all get behind him. Including former president Bill Clinton, who wrote the running back a short note.

The note read: “Hang in there. It’s a contest you can win!”

Clinton was in town raising funds for his wife’s campaign. To think he took time out of his day to do this is heart-warming and encouraging.
